Estonia: From culture clash to innovation

Flag of Estonia

The Estonian Human Rights Centre is oganising a conference to reflect on how the increasing diversity in Estonia's population changes the labour market landscape.

Key questions that will shape the conference discussion include:

  • What opportunities does this bring?
  • How can we create a working environment where people from different cultures feel comfortable and can work together with depth and commitment?
  • How responsive should employers be to the needs of employees' mother tongues, cultures, and religions?
  • How can a sense of community and home be created for people who have arrived to work in Estonia? Is this the employer's responsibility?

Attendance is possible on-site only, and most discussion will take place in Estonian. Find further information online here.
