Romania: Free Romanian language and cultural orientation courses

The courses are organised in the following cities: Bucuresti, Timisoara, Cluj-Napoca, Iasi, Constanta, Brasov, Bacau, Oradea, Suceava by the Intercultural Institute Timisoara, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Research, Youth and Sports and with the support of the Romanian Immigrations Office, which is administrating the European Integration Fund.

The target group is represented by third country nationals: citizens from countries outside EU, who are living in Romania. The courses will take place between February and May 2011. The duration of a course is 148 hours and the schedule is flexible, established by each professor with his/her class.

The courses are free of charge. After graduating the Romanian language courses, the participants will receive a language certificate issued by the Ministry of Education. The cultural orientation courses include useful information for the Romanian citizenship exam.
