Greece: An impressive response to the first two open calls of the Greek EEA Grants NGO Programme “We are all Citizens”

Title

A total number of 305 applications have been submitted for the first two calls of the Greek EEA Grants NGO Programme “We are all Citizens” - namely ‘Advocacy and Watchdog Role’ and ‘Provision of Welfare and basic services to defined target groups increased’. Out of those, 248 are eligible projects on the basis of the eligibility criteria set by the Programme and will be fully evaluated and scored by a team of independent scorers, as well as by the Selection Committee and the Steering Committee.

The geographical spread of the proposed projects is also quite impressive, as 96 are nation-wide projects, 62 spread around Athens and the wider Greek capital region, 45 proposals come from northern Greece, 25 proposals come from southern Greece while the remaining 20 eligible projects proposed spread around the Greek islands.
