Urban Agenda working conference on migrant reception & housing (report)

The Urban Agenda Partnership on the Inclusion of Migrants and Refugees, coordinated by the city of Amsterdam, contributes to the design of future and the revision of existing EU migrant integration policies. Approximately 100 academic and practitioner Partners met on 10-11 November 2016 to discuss migrant reception and housing issues. A report reflecting these discussions is now published.

The Partnership on Inclusion of Migrants and Refugees and the European Urban Knowledge Network have selected a number of bottleneck areas around which the working conference was centred. Partners have formulated actions and recommendations aimed at solving identified problems such as EU-regulations, EU-funding and knowledge exchange. The report further indicates whether this action or recommendation predominantly concerns reception, housing, or both.
