
The National Ombudsman is starting an investigation into the Civic Integration Act abroad. He will take a closer look into the specifications for the so-called hardship. Aliens can invoke the hardship clause in the law if they believe they are unable to meet the requirements for naturalisation.
Requests made by a number of organisations are the reason for the Ombudsman to research the matter.
