The International Dialogue Centre (KAICIID) launched new grants scheme 'Catalysts for Cohesion (C4Ɔ)', designed to facilitate young people from diverse backgrounds in European cities working together to build cohesive, inclusive communities. Through its young grantees, C4Ɔ will build and upskill a network of emerging European leaders promoting interreligious and intercultural change.

Eligible proposals for change-making initiatives will be in line with policy recommendations of the European Policy Dialogue Forum (EPDF) on building cohesive and inclusive communities where everyone feels belonging.

Young people aged 18-30 are invited to apply in diverse teams of 2-5 members from the same location in any European country. Each team should represent at least two different faith backgrounds; C4Ɔ is also particularly interested in receiving applications from diverse teams representing underserved communities, for example, in terms of gender, race, socioeconomic status and refugee and migrant backgrounds.

Successful recipients will receive EUR 2 500 - 5 000 funding, based on the needs of the initiative, and will have access to a 6-month capacity-building training and support programme.

Applications must be submitted here by 17 June, 17:00 (Western European Summer Time).

Find further details in the call for applications or by attending the online orientation and information session on 29 May, 16:00. Questions can be sent via email to europe@kaiciid.org.
