The SIRIUS network published a mapping of data availability on migrant education across the EU.
SIRIUS - the international leading policy network on migrant education - brings together key stakeholders in migration and education from around Europe, including policy makers, researchers, practitioners and representatives of migrant communities.
The report examines practices and protocols related to the collection of migrant education data across 14 European SIRIUS partner countries: Belgium, Croatia, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia and Spain (Catalonia). Specifically, it aims to:
- determine the range of data being collected across states;
- identify the depth and detail of available data;
- examine challenges and ongoing policy discussions;
- highlight gaps in data collection and present good practices.
