Freedom of expression, tolerance and exchanges of opinion are promoted by a monthly radio broadcasting called Kuddel Muddel. Every last weekend of the month Kuddel Model broadcasts for one hour with the aim of promoting intercultural exchange. Allowing us to discover the life experiences of third country nationals helps to combat cliches. Every broadcast focuses on a topic and experts are invited.
Project Goal
The variety of the Luxembourgish population is not taken account of in the media industry as it should. Kuddelmuddel gives the opportunity to third country nationals to express themselves, to share information and good integration practices.
How it works
Once the topic of the broadcast is decided, experts are invited and testimonials are collected.
Results
Kuddel Muddel has broadcast programmes on the following topics:
- the national consultative body for foreigners;
- regularisation of undocumented immigrants;
- sport and intgration
- Luxembourgish citizenship for third country nationals.
Evaluation
There has been no formal evaluation of the radio broadcasts.
Who benefits
The listeners of course, whatever may be their background, all get to know about the diversity in Luxembourgish society.
