The European Social Fund (ESF) in the Czech Republic published a new call offering funding for initiatives that promote solutions to social exclusion. The aim of the call is to support those socially excluded or at risk of social exclusion, including migrants, living in metropolitan areas and suburbs.
Eligible activities include those delivered directly to target groups - migrants and asylum seekers, for example, including temporary protection holders - that are in line with the official strategies of the relevant metropolitan area or suburb. Eligible applicants are non-governmental and non-profit organisations, municipalities, organisations established by municipalities and regions, voluntary associations of municipalities, and social service providers.
The total amount of funding allocated under this call is CZK 254.8 million (EUR 10.6 million), and the deadline for applications is 5 May 2023.
