
The Secretary General of the Portuguese Ministry of Internal Administration is now accepting funding applications for projects that support the relocation of 15 particularly vulnerable people, namely unaccompanied minors, per year.
This funding opportunity is made available through the EU’s Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF). The total amount available for this call is € 64,521.
The eligible actions will focus on:
- The establishment of identification procedures, analysis of the refugee’s situation, preparation for transfer, reception, hosting and integration of beneficiaries of international protection, concerning special hosting needs for particularly vulnerable people (unaccompanied minors)
- The development of cultural orientation programs, language learning, professional training, access to education, health and cross-sectoral support
Approved projects may benefit from a maximum co-financing rate of 75%. The duration of the projects should not exceed 36 months.
