The ethical and social impact of sport

This event will examine the role of sports organisations in combating racism and promoting a culture of respect and inclusion, highlighting the actions and policies necessary to eradicate racism from the sports community in Spain.

Speakers will include:

  • Hollie Varney, Director of Kick it Out, a charity against discrimination in sports.
  • Taty Ferrer, President of the Asociación Deporte para la Igualdad.
  • Emilio Nsue López, football player and founder of the Asociación Nsue Sport Plus.
  • Paco Palencia, former footballer and Mexican coach. He is the top Mexican scorer in the history of the Copa Libertadores.

The event will be moderated by Andrea Bioko, Managing Partner of Afro Tennis. Attendance in person is free although capacity is limited: seating will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
