Under the auspice of the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU, the Flanders Government invites to the conference Local Government Approaches to Diversity. The event will take place on 19 April 2024 in the city of Mechelen.

The conference will highlight initiatives and policies fostering diversity and enhancing social cohesion in Flanders, as well as in various municipalities across Europe. The event is meant to highlight that amid various challenges and opportunities, municipalities and cities in Europe are stepping up.

The conference is meant to bring together mayors and local government representatives, councillors, experts and civil servants from across Europe and requires registration.
