The Horizon 2020-funded FUME, HumMingBird, and QuantMig projects are organising a two-day joint conference on the future of migration to Europe.
The hybrid event will provide the occasion for these projects to share their results and experiences after several years of studying migration drivers and developing migration scenarios and future projections. Researchers from the FUME and HumMingBird projects will engage with policy makers and practitioners to discuss how these projections can influence the decision-making processes of European policy makers.
Key questions addressed by the conference will include:
- What will the new migration patterns to Europe be?
- Which scenarios and drivers will play a key role in future migration?
- How can we improve migration data collection?
- What challenges and opportunities exist in the development of new, evidence-based migration policies?
Further information and the full event schedule can be found online here. Registration is free of charge but compulsory, for attendance both in person and online.
