Consulting EUTH final conference

CEUTH logo

The AMIF-funded Consulting EUTH (CEUTH) project will hold its final event in Brussels on 5 December.

CEUTH promotes the social inclusion of migrant and refugee youth using innovative and collaborative approaches, such as co-designing policies through the setting up of consultative bodies at local and European level. It envisions a future where young migrants and refugees play an active role in contributing to societal structures, moving beyond being mere recipients of policies.

In emphasising inclusivity in its actions, CEUTH aims to build a framework of understanding, empathy, and shared responsibility among all stakeholders involved in shaping policies affecting migrant and refugee youth.

The event will be hosted by Vice-President of the European Parliament Pina Picierno, with moderation and contributions throughout from partner organisations and other local- and EU-level stakeholders. Key project results will be presented, including:

  • The main obstacles identified to the political participation of young migrants residing in EU Member States and related best practices in overcoming these
  • Tools for co-designing policies: the Hackathon challenges
  • Activities in raising awareness around the political participation of migrant and refugee youth
