Walk-in vaccination (e.g. with no prior registration required) against COVID-19 is now freely available across Slovakia, in selected hospitals. Everyone is now eligible, including all types of migrants, regardless of their migration status. Foreigners must provide an ID and residence permit, but health insurance is not required.
Asylum seekers, 'tolerated stay' permission holders, refugees and subsidiary protection holders are eligible too. A list of hospitals offering free walk-in vaccination has been published by the Ministry of Health and is available here.
