Italy: UNHCR launches platform to facilitate labour inclusion

Flag of Italy

UNHCR Italy, in collaboration with employment agency ADECCO, launched a new web platform to facilitate development of the labour inclusion pathways outlined within its “Welcome: working for refugee integration” programme.

The Welcome in one-click platform works as a shared digital space in which people who are refugees can upload their CVs and explore job vacancies and vocational training opportunities. Companies who want to ensure the inclusion and engagement of refugees in their projects can also make use of the platform, identifying possible employees via the available CVs. The platform overall aims at helping companies and refugees to connect, fostering and promoting social inclusion.

UNHCR's “Welcome: working for refugee integration” programme promotes the labour inclusion of refugees through the creation of corporate partnerships between companies and civil society organisations participating in WelcomeNet, a network of organisations supporting the beneficiaries involved in labour inclusion pathways.
