
Federal Interior Minister Thomas de Maizière attended the opening ceremony of the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB) for the 25th anniversary of the program "Integration through Sport". The program is an integral part of the federally funded integration work. De Maizière emphasized that especially in times of increased immigration a lively culture of welcome would offer for many migrants a real chance to find a new home in Germany.
