The Belgian Immigration Office has stated that third-country nationals prevented from leaving Belgium due to quarantine, flight cancellation, border closure, etc., arising from the COVID-19 pandemic and related measures, may request authorisation to extend their permit to stay in Belgium.
In order to reduce travel and close physical contact, requests for extension can be sent by email to the relevant local administration. In case of emergency, requests for extension can be sent directly to the Immigration Office. See the official website for more information
