The European Network Against Racism (ENAR) has published two calls for authors.
The first is for the ENAR European Shadow Report 2010/2011.
The comparative EU-wide Shadow Report is based on the ENAR National Reports 2010/2011. It will cover, in a comparative manner, the same topics as outlined in the Handbook of Instructions for the ENAR National Shadow Reports 2010/2011.
The European Shadow Report shall comparatively reflect the NGO perspective and the situation of racism and discriminatory practices in the European Union, from 31st March 2010 to 31st March 2011.
The report should not be longer than 30-35 pages.
The deadline for submitting proposals for writing the European Shadow Report 2010/2011 is Wednesday 7 September 2011.
The author of the study will be selected by Wednesday 14 September 2011 and shall start drafting the report by Monday 26 September 2011.
The deadline for submission of the draft study is Monday 14 November 2011 and the deadline for incorporating the changes sent by ENAR Secretariat and submitting final draft is Wednesday 30 November 2011.
The second call is for an ENAR publication on 'far right discourses', providing an analysis of contemporary far right movements by reviewing the current political situation, politicised discourses and the rise in right-wing populism throughout the EU.
The deadline for applications is 9th September 2011.
The author will be contracted by 30th September 2011, with a first draft to be submitted to ENAR by 30th November 2011, and a final draft to be submitted by 6th January 2012.
