Project Goal
The project is aimed at promoting an active role of youngsters in fighting against racism, by strengthening their ability to analyse the mechanisms of construction of stereotypes and to react to racist and discriminatory attitudes and speech. To allow youngsters to understand, through arts and entertainment, the existence of stereotypes and to make them ineffective by using humour, will remove one of the main obstacles to the integration among future generations and will contribute to the creation of an inclusive society.

- a research-action about the representations of migrant origin youngsters in the media in the three partner countries
Results
Young tutors have been trained about the themes of racism and dicscriminations through a 40 hours training course. The so trained young tutors carried out 20 workshops in art secondary schools in Italy. Each course lasted 20 hours and each student produced at least one comic abour the above themes. Some of these comics have been selected to be shown in the most relevant comics exhibitions in Italy and in France. The other partner countries hosted similiar initiatives.
Evaluation
The main difficulties have been faced in the collection of images of migrant origin youngsters for the research-action. Workshops in schools produced great results and the participation to the comics exhibitions gave a good visibility to the project. The achieved visibility and the positive experience of workshops will grant the durability of the obtained resuts.
