UK: Service contract - 'Connections to Opportunities'

Connections to Opportunities (C2O) is a Coventry-based employment project aimed at people from communities that suffer disproportionate levels of long term unemployment. The aim is to engage people with volunteering, training and other opportunities that will help them move towards work.

The communities that will benefit are:

Unemployed people, aged 16 and over, from the Tile Hill, Canley and Tanyard Farm Priority Neighbourhoods (Coventry) who are:
Long term workless (12 months+) or;
Unemployed non benefit claimants or;
Disabled people and those with health conditions or;
Lone parents or;
Ethnic minorities.
Unemployed people, aged 16 and over, from target ethnic minority groups citywide.

Coventry City Council (Economy & Community) is seeking to appoint Contractors to undertake the activity detailed in this tender.
