Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic in line with § 6, paragraph 1., c. of the Act No. 434/2010 Coll. on providing donations announces a call for proposals related to the support of cultural activities for disabled persons or groups with other disadvantaged characteristics. The focus of the projects should be on supporting equal treatment and equal opportunities in the area of culture as well as on simplifying the access of disadvantaged groups to culture. All proposals should aim to support access to cultural rights of persons threatened by poverty and put emphasis on social inclusion and integration of persons into the society.

The call considers third-country nationals as an eligible target group. May be financially supported, are cultural activities focusing on the prevention against all forms of violence, discrimination or xenophobia and on supporting tolerance, social cohesion, intercultural dialogue, etc.

The scheme has four specific sub-programmes:

1. Contemporary culture
2. Periodical press
3. Non-periodical press
4. Non-formal education

The deadline for applications is 10 November 2015.
