Czech Republic: Open call for projects in domestic and gender-based violence

Untitled

The Ministry of Finance announced an open call for proposals from projects focused on establishing new, specialised services for victims of gender-based violence. Funding will come from the Norway Grants 2014-2021 .

The objective of the call is to strengthen the capacity of the system for preventing and combatting domestic and gender-based violence. This is in response to a long-term shortage of specialised services for victims of domestic and gender-based violence in the Czech Republic. The call aims to promote accessibility of specialised services (ambulatory, residential, crisis and field assistance) to persons at risk of domestic and gender-based violence, including those belonging to specific victim groups (e.g. migrants, ethnic minorities, etc.).

The following types of activity will be eligible for support:

  • Establishing new, specialised centers for victims of domestic and gender-based violence;
  • Introduction of innovative measures by providers of specialised services for victims of domestic and gender-based violence.

A more detailed, comprehensive list of eligible activities is provided here.

The deadline for submission of applications is 15 March 2021. The total amount of funding available is 51 581 481 CZK (1 946 471 EUR).
