In the Czech Republic, the Employment Plus operational programme - financed by the European Social Fund - opened a call to fund activities that aim to support the integration of people disadvantaged in the labour market.
The total amount allocated within the call for projects aimed at supporting migrants and asylum seekers, including temporary protection holders, is 50 million CZK (approximately 2 million EUR). Support is available for two-year projects with a maximum amount of 10 million CZK (approximately 400 000 EUR).
Eligible applicants are NGOs, educational and advisory institutions, municipalities, and voluntary associations of municipalities.
Supported activities are:
- Advisory and information activities and programmes
- Motivational activities
- Retraining; education
- Development of basic skills for easier employment; Czech language courses
- Job placement; employment
- Support for flexible forms of employment
The deadline for submission of applications is 20 October.
