
The Global Girl Media Greece organisation, via the Agape Athens Project and with the support of the UNHCR, is organising a media workshop on gender-based violence for women aged 16 - 30. The media workshop will take place in Athens from 20 - 28 March, at the Athens coordination center for migrant and refugee issues (ACCMR).
The workshop will be held in English and includes the following sections:
- Best practices for creating, capturing and editing video content on mobile phones
- How to develop an audio-visual story
- Interviewing techniques
- Latest mobile media tools
- Choosing shooting locations and optimising light and sound
- Installation techniques
- Secrets to creating videos that resonate with a mobile audience
- Women's viewpoints in the media
- Gender-based violence in the media
