
The Bodossaki Foundation, Fund Operator of the EEA Grants NGO Programme “We are all Citizens”, is pleased to announce the names of the Non Governmental Organizations that are now at the final stage of the process, in order to receive funding through the EEA Grants financial mechanism. The total amount available at this stage of the Programme is €3.5 m. The names of the organizations are already publicized on the Programme’s website www.weareallcitizens.gr; however the list will be finalized after the signing of the contracts.
As a result of this transparent and well-designed evaluation process, the Bodossaki Foundation will be funding 41 projects throughout the country, with a total grant of 3.5m€. Twenty eight projects are small projects (with a budget up to 50K€) and the remaining 13 are large projects (with a budget up to €250K). Projects that support children and youth will receive approximately 50% of the funding available.
Through the implementation of the granted projects, civil society in Greece will benefit as a whole, while particular concerns such as social inequalities, social exclusion, racism, xenophobia will be addressed.
The next two open calls of the NGO Programme “We are all Citizens” will be announced on 22 September 2014.
