The Greek Ministry of Interior has published a new call for proposals within the framework of EU's Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme 2014-2020. Submissions should focus on dialogue and exchange of good practices on tolerance and mutual respect.
Priorities
Projects should aim to prevent and combat, at local level, anti-semitism, islamophobia, racism, xenophobia and intolerance, in general. Concretely, they should design and implement tools and practices for the prevention, monitoring and fight against online hate speech; for better understanding between (religious) communities and interreligious and intercultural activities. Prevention and fight against homophobia and transphobia is another focus point of this call.
Eligibility
Local and regional actors, particularly public authorities (municipalities, regional authorities etc.), NGOs, youth organisations, schools, civil society organisations and enterprises are invited to submit their applications by 5 January 2017 via PRIAMOS. Profit organisations should apply in partnership with public entities.
The amount requested can not be less than 75,000 euros.
