Austria: Social Report 2011

The social report presents activities of the Federal Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Consumer Protection in the years 2011 and 2012 and provides analysis to the development of the framework of social policy in Austria. Developments in foreign employment law are presented. Among other things, the Social Report also deals with poverty and exclusion risks. It is stated that the households of naturalized nationals (38%) or foreign nationals (37%) have poverty and exclusion risks more than twice as high as in the general population (17%).
