This law establishes:
- the procedure of entry and exit;
- temporary or permanent residence;
- asylum procedures and qualifications;
- the procedure of integration and naturalisation;
- the procedure for lodging appeals against the decisions on the legal status of foreigner.
This law also regulates other issues relating to the legal status of foreigners in the Republic of Lithuania.
