Guidelines for the Development of a Cohesive and Civically Active Society for 2021-2027

Untitled

The Guidelines for the Development of a Cohesive and Civically Active Society for 2021-2027 (hereinafter - the Guidelines) are a medium-term policy planning document in the field of civil society and democracy policy.

The Guidelines are a policy framework that ensures the succession of national identity, civic society and integration policy, and the implementation of the goals and tasks set out in the Latvian National Development Plan for 2021-2027.

The overarching goal of the policy is a cohesive society: a national, joint, open and civically active society, based on the democratic values and human rights established in the constitution of Latvia, the Latvian language and the Latvian cultural space.

This document is the follow-up to the 2012-2018 Guidelines on National Identity, Civil Society and Integration Policy, further information on which is available here.

Find the Guidelines attached below, or access the document online here.
