The Confederazione Italiana Sindacati Lavoratori (CISL) Milano, or the Italian Confederation of Workers' Trade Unions, member of the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC), along with the migrant association Anolf Milano, was an implementing partners for the Italian pilot actions of the LABOUR-INT project. LABOUR-INT is funded by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF).
As part of the confederation's actions, 40 asylum seekers concluded language and civic education courses, as well as professional training for the horeca, ICT and mechanical sectors. Following these trainings, all beneficiaries undertook paid internships, and some found permanent employment - see more about the LABOUR-INT action in Italy.
