• The European Commission (EC) launched the EU Talent Pool pilot initiative to help those fleeing the war in Ukraine to secure employment in the European Union (EU).
• The 10th Integrating Cities conference, organised by Eurocities and the City of Utrecht, will take place on 16-17 November in Utrecht. It will bring together integration stakeholders working for cities, other levels of government, civil society and academia, with experts providing guidance on addressing vulnerable situations experienced by migrants in an urban context.

Slovakia's Ministry of Health introduced a reform of the training provided to healthcare professionals, in particular to those from third-countries. Key components include changes to processes for the recognition of educational credentials, and simplification of proof of language requirements for foreigners.

Approximately 160 000 people have arrived in Italy from Ukraine since February 2022. The country has introduced several measures to accommodate and integrate these new arrivals, involving the Civil Protection Department, regions, provinces, prefectures, local authorities, the third sector and civil society.

Terre des Hommes Romania and the Jesuit Refugee Service launched a new project that aims to secure the fundamental rights of and access to public services for unaccompanied migrant children and young people in Romania.

The aim of this event - organised by the Urban Agenda Partnership on Inclusion of Migrants and Refugees - is to gain greater insight into the obstacles faced by LGBTQI+ migrants in Europe and the ways in which cities, national governments, and the EU deal with these obstacles in order to contribute to the inclusion of LGBTQI+ migrants in society.

This third biannual integration event in Finland will bring together different sectors and organisations to exchange information and models in integration in order to strengthen partnerships between Finnish public authorities, the third sector and private companies.

The annual international conference on integration is organised by Estonia's Integration Foundation, and will this year focus on social inclusion in Estonia and relevant lessons that can be learnt from other countries. The hybrid event will bring together internationally renowned experts, academics and policymakers.

This further education programme for labour market integration works to secure more equal access to opportunities by connecting people with a refugee and migration background with suitable companies in Austria.

This report analyses 60 policies aimed at improving the labour market integration of people with a migration background in the Netherlands, and thus at narrowing the employment gap between these people and those without a migration background. 

Poland's Migration Consortium published a document detailing instructions in developing a local integration strategy. The aim of the publication is to facilitate discussion and cross-sectoral cooperation on the development of local integration policies.
