Slovakia: 3rd Call EEA Financial Mechanism 2009-2014

Title

Nadácia otvorenej spolo nosti – Open Society Foundation, within the implementation of the NGO Support Program – Democracy and human rights, announces a third call targeted to support NGO’s in Slovakia in four priority areas of support:

  • Democracy, good and transparent public affairs governance;
  • Human rights including minority rights;
  • Gender equality and fight against gender-based violence;
  • Fight against discrimination, racism and xenophobia.

The Program is part of the implementation of the EEA Financial Mechanism 2009-2014, through which Donor States such as Iceland, Liechtenstein and the Kingdom of Norway get involved in the elimination of economic and social inequalities in European Economic Area.

The aim of the call is mostly the support of NGO’s working at a local and regional level, implementing projects with active involvement of target groups, to which the project is assigned. NGO’s that submit more than one project may receive support for one project maximum. In the third call, NGO’s that received financial funding of more than 10 000 €/project in previous two calls, will not be supported.

The call is announced on the day of May 27th, 2015. NGO’s can submit projects to the Program Administrator the latest until July 27th, 2015. The supported projects will be implemented from September 2015, until April 30th, 2016, the latest. Any further information is available in Call itself and the Manual for applicants.
