Raiffeisen Communities: small grants for educational projects

Flag of Romania

Raiffeisen Communities is a programme that supports flexible, informal educational projects initiated by NGOs and/or educational units. This year, 10 grants of approximately RON 50 000 will be allocated to projects targeting vulnerable groups (such as migrants and refugees), addressing the following themes:

  • financial education;
  • entrepreneurial education;
  • civic education;
  • professional education.

Besides funding, each selected organisation will benefit from a mentorship and organisational development programme on financial management, fundraising and community development, which will help them to ensure the sustainability of projects beyond the end of funding. The organisational development programme will be delivered in partnership with the Association for Community Relations.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Organisations should have been active for at least two years at the time of application;
  • Each organisation may submit only one application;
  • The maximum grant available per project is RON 50 000 (approx. EUR 10 000);
  • Organisations should be able to cover co-financing of a minimum of 20% of the total budget;
  • The project duration should be between 4 – 12 months;
  • Applications must be submitted online, via this platform.

The deadline for applications is 25 July 2022, at 17:00 Romania local time (16:00 CET).
