The US Embassy in Bulgaria opened a call for proposals under its small grants programme. One of the priorities of the call is to “advance the inclusion and integration of historically underserved and vulnerable communities, including women, Roma and other minority groups, LGBTQI+ individuals, Ukrainian refugees, other migrants, and disadvantaged youth”.

Projects should strengthen ties between the people of the United States and Bulgaria, highlight shared values, and promote bilateral cooperation. All programmes must include an American cultural element or a connection to an American expert(s), organisation(s), or institution(s) in one of the priority areas identified in the call for applications.

The total programme budget is 300 000 USD, and each chosen project can receive a maximum of 25 000 USD. Find further information here.
