The "Diversity – Identity Call 2011" is the fourth call within the funding programme "Social Sciences and Humanities in Vienna" run by WWTF on behalf of the City of Vienna.

The "Diversity – Identity Call 2011" addresses:
- Viennese universities and research institutions as well as individual researchers in Vienna who are planning a research project (lasting one to four years) within the thematic focus of this call.
- All projects shall strive for a scientific research question dealing with the meaning and arising challenges of a society being characterised by increasing diversity and variety. The main focus of this call is on questions of ethnic origin, migration, inter-cultural mobility, integration and inter-cultural relationships.
- Main criteria of this call include scientific quality of the submitted proposal, innovativeness of approaches, to quality of the team and its competencies to successfully perform the project. Furthermore, the relevance of the proposed project will be assessed.
The "Diversity-Identity Call 2011" closes on 9 June 2011, 2 p.m. In total a budget of 2.0 Mio. € is available for project funding. Minimum funding scope for projects is 100,000 €.
