Migration and cities: local policies for the inclusion of migrants

Flag of Poland

This webinar will see representatives of Polish cities discuss how migration has changed locally since 2022, following the outbreak of war in Ukraine, and how this has translated into actions and policies targeting migrants.

The invited speakers will outline how new strategies and networks have been developed - and in cooperation with which actors -, as well as potential related challenges, in response to the Polish government’s plans to create a new migration strategy for Poland.

This webinar forms part of a series. Invited speakers are Mateusz Płoskonka, representing the City Hall of Krakow, Krzysztof Stanowski, representing the City Hall of Lublin, Joanna Sosnowska from the City Hall of Warsaw, and Marta Majchrzak from the Wroclaw Social Development Centre in the municipality of Wroclaw.
