Global Refugee Forum 2023

UNHCR Logo

The Global Refugee Forum 2023 will take place on 13 - 15 December in Geneva, with linked events held in other locations from 11 December onwards.

Designed to support the practical implementation of the objectives set out in the Global Compact on Refugees - which aims to ease pressures on host countries, enhance refugee self-reliance, increase access to third-country solutions and improve conditions in countries of origin -, the event is the world’s largest international gathering on refugees.

It will give states and stakeholders the chance to announce concrete pledges and contributions, highlight progress made, share good practices and discuss challenges and opportunities ahead. The full programme for each day of the event can be found here.

Participation in the forum is by invitation only. Parts of the event will be livestreamed, and session recordings will be available online afterwards.
