On 2 February the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) will launch the third round of its annual competition to acknowledge outstanding contributions to social cohesion across Europe.
The winning project, which will be one that addresses pressing social issues in an innovative and effective way, will win a sum of €25 000. Applications may be made for an advanced project idea or for one in the early stages of implementation, and must impact beneficiaries in a CEB member country.
Social entrepreneurship and innovation can play an important role in fostering an inclusive recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. At the competition launch there will also be a panel session dedicated to highlighting some of the most promising recent initiatives in the field of social entrepreneurship and social economy.
The competition launch will be streamed live online and no prior registration is necessary.
