The European Commission launches calls for a public consultation and an expert migrant group on integration

The European Commission has launched two important initiatives on integration:

• An EU-wide public consultation calls on all integration stakeholders to contribute to the creation of the next Action Plan on integration and inclusion. Take part by 21 October 2020.
• A call for applications for an expert group of persons with a migrant background to participate in the development and implementation of migration, asylum and integration policies. Apply by 21 September 2020.

Through both initiatives, the Commission seeks to gather input from a broad range of stakeholders, including national, regional and local authorities, civil society organisations, employers and trade unions, businesses, education and training providers, academia, cultural and sport organisations, migrant organisations and private individuals.
