The Research Council of Lithuania has announced a call for proposals under the European Economic Area (EEA) Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 Baltic Research Programme. Applications must cover one of the five thematic areas of the call, addressing challenges in the Baltic region.
Two of the thematic areas are directly relevant to migrant integration:
- Culture, migration and inclusive society
- Economic, social challenges and innovative society
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are research organisations established in Lithuania that have partners in all Baltic states (Latvia and Estonia) and at least one partner from Norway, Iceland and/or Liechtenstein.
Project requirements
The eligible duration of the projects is 36 months. Project partners may apply for a grant from € 300,000 up to € 1,000,000. The total amount available under this call is € 10,000,000.
Applications
Proposals should be submitted by Lithuanian universities and research organisations electronically to the Research Council of Lithuania via the JUNKIS submission system. The deadline for submission of proposals is 3 April 2020 at 16:00.
