Social Democrat Bilkay Öney will lead the new Ministry of Integration in Stuttgart, after state elections in Baden-Württemberg last month. Öney was born in Turkey in 1970, grew up in Berlin and worked for the Green party for several years. Since 2009, she has been member of the house of representatives in the Federal City State of Berlin.
