The International Organization for Migration in Slovakia is currently providing grants to third-country nationals who wish to stay and work in the country. The financial contribution is aimed at improving their prospects on the job market through education and training, including language courses (Slovak language or foreign languages), digital skills (computer literacy or specific programmes) and vocational training (high-lift truck certificate or hairdressing). It will cover administrative fees, learning materials, travel costs and mandatory medical checks, among other costs.

All third country nationals are eligible, except for holders of temporary residence for the purpose of study, family members of an EU citizen, refugees and beneficiaries of subsidiary protection. More conditions and eligibility details
