
The High Council for Integration regrets the the choice made in July 2008 to separate city policies and integration policy. For the High Council on Integration, national integration policy should instead "be amplified and reinvest in the neighborhoods." In his opinion: "This means investing in associations for better integration", fulfilling three requirements: visibility of priorities, recognition and legitimization of associations through effective partnerships and stable funding."
