Support to the implementation of the Roma strategy (Skopje, Macedonia)

The project will provide technical assistance to the relevant bodies responsible for implementation of the Roma strategy, with the view to contribute to improvement of the situation of Roma and to decrease the gap between the Roma community and the majority population in the country. The project aims to build the capacities, strengthen the operational coordination structure and implement priority measures of the Roma strategy action plan, at both national and municipal level (in selected municipalities). Diversity package - Sheffield employability programme (Sheffield, UK)

The Sheffield Employability Programme was conceived in response to a lack of capacity in organisations locally to support employers to recruit and retain new entrants to the labour market. Employers tell us that they find it hard to access the relevant employment support that is available. The impact will be to reduce the churn of people who fall out of employment and return to benefits. The Diversity Package is intended to enable employers to maximise the potential of their workforce and address discrimination issues including age, faith and belief, gender, sexuality and race.  Read more...
