Czech Republic – 'Change the system' call for proposals under the Active Citizens Fund

Title

Projects strengthening the role of civil society organisations may benefit from €100 to €250,000 through grants from the Open Society Fund Prague and the Committee of Good Will – Olga Havel Foundation on behalf of a consortium of the Active Citizens Fund.

The grants aim to strengthen civil society’s role in promoting sustainable, systemic change in the areas of active citizenship, human rights, social justice and gender equality.

Successful projects will last 3 to 4 years and would achieve one of the following outcomes:

  • Strengthening civil society’s advocacy and watchdog role
  • Empowering vulnerable groups, including refugees and migrants
  • Increasing support for civic education and media literacy

Eligible applicants include Czech non-governmental organisations that are officially registered at least two years prior to the submission deadline of the application.

The deadline for the application submission is 4 November 2019.
