The International Projects Directorate within the Bulgarian Ministry of Interior has published a new call for proposals under the Asylum, Migration, Integration Fund (AMIF).
The call is going to support two groups of third-country nationals through the following activities:
- Asylum seekers:
- Social and psychological support activities, including social mediation;
- Identification and assistance of vulnerable persons in the period of initial adaptation by referral to social services and psychological assistance;
- Care for unaccompanied minors;
- Language classes;
- Specific support services such as legal advice, translation and interpretation.
- Beneficiaries of international protection:
- Measures to facilitate initial adaptation.
The maximum requested grants are 1,173,480 BGN (586,740 EUR) and 234,696 BGN (117,348 EUR) respectively. The applicants can receive up to 90% of the funds necessary to realise the projects.
The deadline to submit applications is 30 September 2020. Further information is available on the Ministry of Interior’s website.
