The funds listed below are available to migrant integration initiatives in Croatia. Non-profit organisations and local authorities can apply for financing through several EU funds. In addition, national and private funds are available for service providers and other stakeholders to carry out projects aiming for a better integration of the migrant population. EU funds
Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) in Croatia
Details: The EU has provided €47 316 335 in funding under AMIF to Croatia for the 2021-2027 period. Out of this, €24 724 051.89 of AMIF funds is allocated to asylum and €10 405 000 to legal migration and integration.
Croatia reported the completion of the AMIF-funded renovation of the reception centre for international protection seekers in Kutina as a major development in improving the accommodation conditions for applicants and working conditions for staff.

European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) in Croatia
Details: The EU invests close to €2 billion via ESF+ in Croatia in the 2021-2027 to boost quality employment, skills, education, healthcare, and social services in Croatia. The ESF+ invests in the social care system, particularly for persons with disabilities, long-term care, and aid for the most deprived. Croatia is implementing ESF+ via the Efficient Human Resources national programme, with a total budget of €2.3 billion (out of which €1.93 billion from EU funds. Projects supported by this programme will fund community-based services to prevent the social exclusion of vulnerable groups. The Priority Axis of the Social Europe also aims to promote the integration of third-country nationals.
