Title

This article introduces preliminary findings from the research project The Secrets from Diaries belonging to Migrants on the Margin, focused on migrants´ integration in Slovakia. Eight households of migrants have been writing a diary for six months in order to make their experiences, their thoughts and their everyday life more visible and accessible to the broad public.

This article discusses migration in the context of human rights and presents the various integration experiences of heterogeneous groups of migrants (with different types of family, family size, marital status, religion, age, education profile etc.) into several areas of society: labour market, experience with language trainings, housing and social situation.
