Lithuania: Financial aid for people displaced from Ukraine

Flag of Lithuania

The office of the International Organization for Migration in Vilnius (IOM Lithuania) announced a one-time payment of €176 for newly arrived people displaced from Ukraine.

The aim of this financial aid is to assist vulnerable individuals in covering essential expenses as they settle in. It is available to Ukrainian or third-country nationals (TCNs) arriving from Ukraine for the first time within the last 40 days, via an external EU border.

To qualify, individuals must register with Lithuania's Migration Department for a temporary residence permit and demonstrate that they meet specific vulnerability criteria. Eligible recipients include single parents, families with 3 or more children, pregnant women, people aged over 60, individuals with disabilities and families with disabled children.
